Don Sheldon's Mountain House is the focal point of the base flightseeing tour.

Enjoy panoramic vistas and close up views of the South Face of Mt. McKinley from take-off to landing! Your flightseeing tour will take you through the stunning Great Gorge of Ruth Glacier, North America's deepest gorge. A landing at the peak-ringed Ruth Amphitheater can easily be included but be sure to allow yourself an extra half hour. The Tokositna River area at the base of the Alaska Range offers an opportunity to view moose and bear in their natural habitat.
